TyQuane Goard
Durham City Basketball Association is excited to announce TyQuane Goard as our new Technical Director.
TyQuane brings an outstanding playing résumé and a passion for developing the next generation of athletes. A 6'7" forward, he played NCAA Division I basketball at West Virginia University, Marshall University, and Ohio University, before advancing to the professional ranks.
His professional career includes time in the NBA G League, as well as competing in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) and professionally in Europe, where he established himself as a versatile and high-level player.
Throughout the 2026–27 season, TyQuane will oversee player development for all DCBA rep teams, leading skill development sessions focused on fundamentals, basketball IQ, decision-making, confidence, and preparing our athletes to compete at the highest levels.
We are thrilled to welcome TyQuane to the DCBA family and know our players will benefit tremendously from his experience, leadership, and commitment to excellence.
